UPV has extensive experience of international projects, and more specifically Erasmus+ projects, with over fifty projects to its credit. As these projects show (see the non-exhaustive list at the end of this document), UPV has demonstrated real expertise in creating international partnerships and a keen interest in training future citizens committed to social responsibility, building an inclusive society and developing innovative, interdisciplinary courses. Through these numerous collaborative international projects and the hosting of many cohorts of international students, UPV have demonstrated their interest in the multicultural and intercultural dimensions necessary in our globalised world.
Prof. Felipe L. Peñaranda Foix teaches Microwave Technology at Telecommunication School (ETSIT) at the Technical University of Valencia (UPV) and he is the vice-dean of International Relations in the same school (ETSIT). He has more than 30 years of experience in teaching technical courses in electromagnetics, and more than 14 years of experience in international projects related with ERAMUS programme and all the activities around it: TEMPUS, mobility, intensive programmes.
Prof. Carmen Bachiller
Prof. Carmen Bachiller teaches Electromagnetic Waves at Telecommunication School (ETSIT) at the Technical University of Valencia (UPV) and she is the responsible for the Telecommunications Museum located at the ETSIT. She has more than 20 years of experience in teaching technical courses in electromagnetics, and more than 10 years of experience in international projects related with ERAMUS programme.
Felipe Laureano Peñaranda Foix and Maria Carmen Bachiller Martin will provide their knowledge of student mobility and the technical support needed to process the qualitative interviews with students who have taken part in European projects. In addition, their external perspective on the concepts of interculturality and otherness will be a valuable safeguard in the design of the training videos (stage 3).
