The LPWAN Days are a leading scientific event dedicated to long-range, low-power communication networks, essential for the Internet of Things (IoT). This event is part of the thematic days organized by the GDR RSD. Following previous editions held in Lyon (2019), Clermont-Ferrand (2021), Toulouse (2022), Grenoble (2023), and Pau (2024), the LPWAN 2025 edition will take place in Rennes on July 3rd and 4th, 2025, on the campus of the University of Rennes.
The term LPWAN (Low-Power Wide Area Network) encompasses a wide range of technologies such as LoRa, Wi-SUN, LTE-M, NB-IoT, Mioty, 802.11ah, among others. Given the growing deployments, non-terrestrial communications, particularly satellite-based networks for LPWAN, are also a central focus of this event.
The LPWAN 2025 days will provide industry stakeholders with the opportunity to discuss and analyze challenges related to the design, development, and deployment of LPWAN networks, identify current scientific and technical issues, share the latest research results and feedback, and create a conducive environment for future collaborations. This event is a unique opportunity for researchers, industry players, and users of LPWAN technologies to exchange ideas and collectively shape the future of these low-power networks.
