Submit a Paper

The key is to choose the right PaperCept contribution type. A regular paper and a paper submitted to an invited session or open track do not use the same line.

Which kind of paper are you submitting?

Choose your situation before going to PaperCept.

NO INVITED SESSION / TRACK CODE

Regular contribution

Your paper is submitted to the general INCOM scientific programme.

Your paper responds to a session call and the organizer gave you its PaperCept code.

Your paper belongs to an approved open track listed in the INCOM scientific programme.

Invited-session paper? If your manuscript belongs to an approved INCOM invited session, select Invited Session Paper and use the PaperCept code supplied by the session organizer.

Prepare the manuscript

INCOM 2027 invites 6-page original research papers.

Prepare your manuscript with the official Word or LaTeX templates.

Create the PDF
Check page size, margins, embedded fonts and the conference page limit.

Test it
Use PaperCept’s PDF Test before the actual upload whenever possible.

If you submit to an invited session or open track, get the code first

The PaperCept code links your manuscript to the correct invited session or open track.

Do not guess the code.

Use the exact code communicated by the invited-session/track organizers or published in the INCOM programme.

Submit in PaperCept

The portal is easier when you know the route in advance.

    Open PaperCept

    For a first submission, you do not have to log in before starting. Each author must nevertheless have a PaperCept PIN.

    Find “INCOM 2027”

    Then click Submit a contribution to INCOM 2027.

    Choose the row that matches your manuscript. The Submit action is always in the far-right column. The blue underlined “Submit” labels are intentionally disabled in this illustration; use the “Open PaperCept” button in the guide.

    Enter authors and submission metadata

    Use the correct author PINs. If this is an invited-session/track paper, enter or select the assigned invited-session/track code when PaperCept requests it.

    Upload, inspect and submit

    Inspect the PDF produced or accepted by PaperCept. Keep the confirmation and submission number after the upload is complete.

The most common mistake

Do not choose “Regular Paper” if your manuscript belongs to an approved invited session or open track. Choose the matching invited-session/track paper type and use the code given by the organizer.

After the review

PaperCept requires login for later author actions such as re-uploading and final submission.
