The DECART project is an international collaboration funded by the European Commission’s ERASMUS+ programme, aiming to design innovative and resilient higher education curricula in engineering and business. The project held its fifth meeting in January 2025 at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in South Africa, focusing on curriculum transformation and leadership in a complex global environment. This meeting highlighted intercontinental collaboration, integrating African and European approaches to enhance education reform. The project utilizes a “curriculum canvas” for design, a self-assessment questionnaire, and a Serious Game to simulate real-world challenges, with the final project meetings scheduled for July 2025 in Vilnius.
