Presentation & objectives

Welcome to the website of the computer science course at IMT Atlantique!

  • Semester 5 will we be organized around a single computer. You will learn how to solve a problem from an algorithmic perspective, and how to program it.

  • Semester 6 will extend this by integrating the computer in a more global ecosystem. You will learn about networks, databases, and will improve your programming skills in this richer environment.

On this website, you will find all the resources you need for attending the computer science course of the FISE A1 track at IMT Atlantique. The website is organized in semesters, and each semester in blocks, corresponding to themes such as programming, networks, databases, etc. Each block is divided into sessions, corresponding to a few hours in (or outside) class on a specific topic. You will find specific information related to contents, organization of the sessions, evaluations, etc. on the corresponding pages. We invite you to have a quick tour of the semester and block pages using the menu on the left.

Finally, you should see two buttons at the bottom of the menu:

  • Discord – A Discord server is here for you to interact with other students and the teachers outside of the classes. You should join it as soon as possible.

  • Moodle – While the course contents are on this website, most evaluations will have to be done on IMT Atlantique’s Moodle platform.
