Two DECART members (Cecile Gerwel and Haraldur Audunsson) took part in the „University of the Future“ Working Group (WG) at the International CDIO 2023 conference at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, in June 2023. The WG is part of a project started in 2022 by University of Eindhoven. The various interactive exercises throughout the day facilitated diverse participants in Higher Education to engage in discussions about the „University of the Future“, and try as far as possible to not be held back by constraints. The critical role that diverse stakeholders in Higher Education, such as society and industry, play in shaping the future, cannot be ignored. This ultimately has implications for curriculum design, and hence the DECART project.
