Navigating Curriculum Transformation in Higher Education: Insights from the DECART Project at iSoTL 2024
Angela James presented at the 2nd Innovations in the Science of Teaching and Learning (iSoTL) 2024 conference, held on September 26-27, 2024, in Durban, South Africa. The research, conducted by Cecile Gerwel Proches, Angela James, Macdonald Kanyangale, Roger Waldeck, Haraldur Auðunsson, and Siegfried Rouvrais, focused on “Unpacking Curriculum Transformation in Higher Educational Institutions in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous World: Insights from the DECART Project.”
The presentation highlighted the disruptions impacting Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) in terms of curriculum development and explored what curriculum transformation entails, based on insights gained from the DECART project.
The iSoTL 2024 conference brought together educators, researchers, and practitioners from various disciplines to explore the crucial link between innovation, ethics, and inclusive excellence in higher education teaching and learning.
