Future Skills to Impact Curriculum Designs, Challenges & Opportunities
6 IMT Atlantique Master Students Presented Their Interviews Analysis in a Special Project Forum January 2025.
The student team analysed the skills required for future industrial leaders to be able to address the challenges of #digital transformation, advanced technologies such as #AI, and the transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0.

A literature review was first conducted, then data collected by conducting 16 semi-structured virtual interviews (1h each), with diverse experts in #industry from France, Germany, Iceland, Lithuania, Indonesia and South Africa, further data was collected using online questionnaires. Data analysis was represented using a #mindmap to illustrate the progression from technical skills to a #strategic and human-centered vision. A poster was presented for the global Forum at #IMTAtlantique in the main hall. The results now can guide #curriculum designers on integrating #future skills to anticipate skills #disruptions: aligning organizational expectations with future leaders’ capabilities.
Many thanks to the student team for this hard and formal work on several months: Théau AGUET, Aymane AIT M’BARK, Ambroise DEHAYE, Massokhna DIA, Marie-Camille MEMET, and Geraud PAPIN!
