A curriculum canvas to compare more than 40 engineering programs from IMT in France?

In January 2025, in the Alps, the #Erasmus+ #DECART presentation was given at the IMT Winter School on pedagogy, called #MEDIANE, an event that gathered educators, programme directors, and deans of pedagogy from 12 French engineering schools. The programme included a keynote lecture by Denis Bédard, who shared insights on motivation and experiential learning. Over three half-day sessions, more than 40 attendees took part in workshops and experience-sharing sessions, exploring innovative teaching & learning methods. Within this framework, Siegfried Rouvrais and Gilles Jacovetti from #IMTAtlantique presented a session titled “Set Sail for Expedition Learning”. The session focused on the DECART curriculum canvas, with #cards on good pratices, how they can be applied in an engineering education #framework.
Feedback from the audience reinforced the relevance of the curriculum canvas and opened new possibilities for further exploration and collaboration between French institutions. The canvas gained interest from the #IMT headquarter’s #education management, who consider it as an effective way to compare the different curricula across the engineering schools of the IMT group, more than 40.
