DECART Serious Games on Curriculum Design and Analysis

AI is rapidly reshaping education — enhancing not only teaching and learning, but also how we assess and design curricula.
The DECART project has followed a design-based research approach, engaging both internal partners and an increasing number of external contributors. This iterative methodology was also applied to the development of serious games, particularly for curriculum design and analysis.
These serious games have already been successfully deployed in several training sessions and conferences, including:
SEFI Conference
Erasmus Days 2024
MEDIANE
Rochebrune Workshop
IEEE EDUCON
Upcoming: Questions de Pédagogies dans l’Enseignement Supérieur (Brest) and CDIO (Melbourne)
The physical game boards and card sets have now been fully adapted for online collaborative use through Miro, enhancing accessibility and engagement.

The prototype materials are now ready for the next development phase:
Enhanced visual design and graphical interface
Rapid ergonomic analysis to improve usability
Preparation of a fully packaged Creative Commons-licensed game box for open access use
This “all-in-one” game solution will soon be available for wide dissemination.
Have creative ideas or feedback that could inspire the final version?
